Interpeace named in the Phoenix 50 list

Interpeace was named in the inaugural Phoenix 50 List which is part of a new report by Volans, a social innovation consultancy. With the backing of the Skoll Foundation, SustainAbility, Singapore’s Economic Development Board, Net Impact and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), both the report and the list were presented at the Skoll World Forum on Social Entrepreneurship on the 26 March, 2009.
Selected from over 300 nominations

The list was a final selection made from over 300 nominations submitted by entrepreneurs and other stakeholders. Other named organizations in the Phoenix 50 List come from both the business and non for profit sector. They include Ashoka, Google.org, Participant Media, Grameen Group and the World Business Council for Sustainable Development.

The organizations on the Phoenix 50 List are considered pioneers in social innovation as they make significant contributions towards building a more equitable and sustainable global economy.
